Omron, a new delhi-based company, offers supplies compact and modular form programmable controllers. These controllers are provided with dual redundant plc system. Communication could be made on 1:1 link, 1:n link and man machine interface. Fixed series control units of 10/20/30/40 i/os are expandable up to 100 i/os using 20 i/o digital expansion unit and additional analogue unit with 2 inputs and 1 output. Modular series plc up to 2048 i/os are expandable up to 6144 i/os with remote i/o units using 4/8/16/32/64 digital, 4/8-channel analogue and variety of special control modules. These programmable controllers are easily programmable on dos/windows based software or through hand held programming console.
